Central Virginia Greyhounds is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to the welfare of retired racing greyhounds.

We educate the public on the advantages of greyhounds as pets.

We provide information about greyhound adoption.

We provide assistance to new greyhound families as well as offer therapy and training classes for retired racers.

We raise money to help cover costs associated with greyhound care and medical costs.

We schedule various walks and social get-togethers around the area as a way to socialize with your greyhound.
